Road Construction on Old Arcata Road

Dear JCS Families,

I am writing to update you about the road work on Old Arcata Road.  I spoke with CalTrans and this work will be continuing through the month of September.  They are replacing a gas line.

Please consider taking advantage of our Arcata Community Center bus stop to avoid the road construction.  The school bus will pick your child up at the Arcata Community Center at 8:05 in the morning and drop off at 3:38 in the afternoon.  If families use this service, it will improve pick up and drop here at JCS, and save you time!

Another option would be for families to use the Bayside Cut-off as an alternate route.
