Athletics Update December 2018

Girls’ Basketball

The girls’ basketball season is coming to an end.  The JCS Take It to the Hoop 8th grade Tournament will be held at JCS on 11/30 and 12/1.  We will be holding our first 7th grade girls JCS Take it to the Hoop Tournament at Sunny Brae Middle School on 11/30 and 12/1.  Our Lady Panthers will be playing at home for the rest of the Bay League Season. Their last game will be on 12/11. Come out and support our girls basketball teams.

Boys’ Basketball

An eblast was sent out in the beginning of November containing information about the upcoming Bay League Boys’ basketball season.  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwIpthfalWbyMFhST2NkS2lTc1ZiNGJtSWk2aE9SZFUtWmRV/view?usp=sharing   If your student is interested in participating in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade boys basketball, please turn in the following paperwork to the school office NO LATER THAN December 3.  Students will not be able to participate without ALL necessary paperwork turned in prior to the start of the season. The paperwork can be found at http://jacobycreekschool.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/2016r4_JCSAthleticHandbook.pdf  or they are printed in the school office.  Please keep in mind that students are expected to have a 70% or higher grade in all classes to be eligible to participate in sports.  Practices for our Bay League boys teams will begin on Wednesday, December 12th.
