Athletics Update November 2017
Girls’ Basketball
Girls’ basketball is under way. The schedules for our 5th, 6th and 8th grade teams can be found on our website under “Sports Calendar” and displayed in our Athletics box. Our 5th grade team will be hosting their first home game on November 2nd – no admission fee. Our first home Bay League game will be November 28th – Bay League Season Passes are $30 and can purchased in the office and at our home games. We will be hosting our annual 8th Grade Take it to the Hoop tournament in the beginning of December.

Boys’ Basketball
There is a mandatory meeting on November 1st, at 6:30 pm in the GYM for parents of students who are interested in participating in boys’ basketball, 5th-8th grade. If you are unable to attend, please send a representative for your child.
**5th grade basketball is not a part of the Bay League. Admission into the North Coast League and volunteer parent coach(es) are required. Practice location and games TBD.
Student athletes are required to have the following forms on file:
- PRE-PARTICIPATION PHYSICAL EVALUATION (PHYSICALS ARE VALID FOR ONE YEAR FROM THE DOCUMENTED DATE OF EXAM)
- ATHLETIC CONTRACT
- ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF POTENTIAL RISK

Please consider sponsoring an Athletics Banner and/or volunteering at one of our tournaments—both are great ways to support JCS Athletics.
